*Includes containers from CMA CGM Moliere v233, which bypassed Houston Bayport and discharged containers in Tuxpan, Mexico. These containers were loaded on Lisbon V.235 on 1 September, and arrived at Houston Bayport on 4 September to resume their journey.
Port Operations
Gates at the Bayport and Barbours Cut terminals in Houston have been open for all operations since Labour Day on Monday, 4 September 2017.
The terminal systems have been updated to reflect a “freeze period” from 25 August to 4 September on all import storage. Those days will not be included with the free time /demurrage totals.
Rail Operations
The following track segments have been repaired and have returned to service:
- Between Houston and Navasota — providing another route into and out of Houston towards Bryan, Texas
- Between Houston and San Antonio
- Tracks along Baytown, Texas branch
- Interchange between Union Pacific (UP) and the Port Terminal Railroad Association (PTRA)
UP has lifted all embargoes and cargo is moving again in normal routes.
Truck Operations
The roads in the area continue to experience high waters and many areas are impassable. All truck activities are suspended until the roads are accessible.
APL places priority in the safety of our employees, as well as all personnel supporting our operations. Our thoughts are with those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
